- Our stovewood is a mixture of Larch and Spruce
- More energy per kg than our hardwood, but less weight, so it burns hotter, fires generally want turning down compared to when burning hardwood
- 100% British timber
For all our logs:
- Bags have a weatherproof lid so they can be left outside
- Kiln dried to below 20% moisture
- Cut, kiln-dried and bagged by us
- Ready to Burn certified
- Registered with Grown in Britain
- Cut to 25cm in length
- 90% of the timber is from within 70 miles of our yard
- Responsibly sourced from sustainable woodlands
- No big ugly logs
- All wood is ‘rumbled’ four times to remove most of the bark and small logs
